We highly recommend velvet or matte laminated options without additional processing or with such elements as spot UV, hot foil , Raised UV or Raised Foil. Use permanent markers to write on such luxury gift certificates – an ordinary ball-pen will not do. 

Still, if your budget is quite limited, you may choose 16 pt paper with High Gloss UV coated front with writable back or matte finish on both sides. For this option numbering and perforating can be added, but we do not recommend it as it adds cost significantly but does not improve any functionality.,
